New for 2026: Ice Cream Science Camp!
We’re hosting a new 3 day ice cream science camp for kids aged 8-12! The camp willtake place July 20th through July 23rd . Campers will learn about ice cream science, create & make their own ice cream flavor, design & print labels for their flavor, learn to scoop &; serve their family &; friends. Campers will also get to take home pints of their flavor &; will receive a WooHoo Ice Cream Scientist tee shirt!
Agenda:
Day 1 (8AM-11AM in Beach Haven):
Ice cream science course
Ice cream tasting/discussion
Flavor idea session
Label designing
Day 2 (8AM-11AM in Beach Haven):
Safety &; cleaning procedures course
Assemble packaging for camper flavors
Flavor making with mentor
Batch &; freeze flavors
Day 3 (10AM-12PM in Surf City)
Scooping &; guest service course
Serve your family & friends!

Notes:
The camp takes place at both our shops. The first 2 days are at our production
facility in Beach Haven. The third day is at our scoop shop in Surf City.
Campers will not be permitted to operate machinery or dangerous tools.
Campers will do a lot of the production work themselves with the assistance of
two WooHoo ice cream makers. For safety reasons, WooHoo ice cream makers
will operate things like blenders, sharp knives, &; machinery on campers’ behalf.
Campers &; their guardians MUST sign a liability waiver to participate. We will
send the waiver in a follow-up email after campers register.
Campers will not be making product that will be sold in WooHoo shops &; will not
serve the public. Everything campers make will be theirs to take home &; they will
only serve their friends & family, who will not be charged. If campers invent a
really cool recipe, we might make it in the future, &; we might name it after them if
they’d like.
